1.Cyber-security and identity thief in Korea

In Korea, cybersecurity is a serious issue which has come under close scrutiny of the authorities, since there have been numerous crimes related to voice phishing and identity thief. Criminals often illegally collect the identity documents (passports/ alien registration cards) of the victims and use them to get phone numbers, with which they conduct phishing scams or frauds.

2. Customer’s responsibility.

Upon placing an order with us, you give us the consent to use your documents to get telecom service (sim cards/ wifi). However, to prevent identity thief and related crimes, we are imposing some regulations during the order process.
Selfies will be required to prove your identity and will be regarded as your consent for use of documents. Customers shall not use the number for SMS spamming and other illegal purposes. Customers shall not sell or lend the number to another person.
The number is registered under the customer’s name and it should not be used by another person.
Failing to comply with the above conditions will result in criminal charges.

3. Our company’s responsibility.

Woori Mobile will not provider customer’s information to any third party, or use it for any other purposes than registering the SIM card/Phone number/WIFI.
